Job Introduction

Role

The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for the enterprise architecture across the SCS JV and lead on strategy for architecture at the JV.

The architect will maintain and improve appropriate architecture governance based on TOGAF for the state of the project and ensure understanding of the estate is maintained in the IT department.

The role will also be the line manager of all architectureprofessionals.

Role Responsibility

Develop and maintain architecture governance based on TOGAF to support operations, decision making and cyber/infosec.
Be accountable for architecture activities across all domains.
Be accountable for the development of the integration capabilities across core systems of record.
Own the development and management of the systems & integration catalogue
Develop and maintain master data management framework and foster data quality awareness to maximise reuse of master data across the JV and it's customers
Work with the customer HS2 and relevant SCS JV departments to align overall architecture models and standards stakeholders.
Mentor other architecture team members in architecture and IT/business leadership
Proficient with enterprise architecture development and exploitation
Good understanding of TOGAF/Enterprise architecture experience
Good understanding of the different architecture domains
Background in systems domain
Proven track record in technical person management
Significantsupplier management experience of both SME and Global Suppliers
Experience in driving Master data management
Ability to work with ambiguity or incomplete information (80/20

Desirable:

Cloud Experience (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) especially Azure

About the Company
The role will work on the HS2 project. HS2 is the UK's new high speed rail network. It will be a catalyst for economic growth across Britain, freeing up space on the existing railways and connecting 8 out of the UK's 10 biggest cities with fast, reliableand frequent high speed services

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract.

Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the constructionof site compounds.
