We are assisting our client in their search for an enthusiastic Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Coordinator to join their team and ensure their manufacturing operations align with rigorous HSE standards.
Position Overview:
As the HSE Coordinator on behalf of our client, you will assume a pivotal role in advocating for a safe and environmentally conscious workplace.
Collaborating closely with various departments, you will spearhead the implementation and monitoring of HSE programs, identify potential risks, and drive continuous enhancements in the company's HSE performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to conceive, implement, and maintain effective HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines that seamlessly adhere to pertinent regulations and industry benchmarks.
- Undertake routine inspections, audits, and assessments to pinpoint potential hazards, unsafe practices, or environmental concerns within the manufacturing facility.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring a collective understanding of their responsibilities and the requisite safety protocols.
- Lead investigations and analysis of incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to unearth root causes and devise remedial and preventive actions.
- Meticulously maintain uptodate records related to HSE activities, incidents, training, inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) tethered to HSE goals and objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and collaborate with teams to implement controls that mitigate risks and nurture a safer work milieu.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated track record in a similar HSE capacity within the manufacturing sector.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Pertinent HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) are essential
