Loan Activation Assistant

Up to £21,215

Chester

Hours of work
  • Monday to Friday
9am - 7pm on a shift basis,


Saturdays 10am - 5pm (1 in 3), including bank holidays (on a rota basis)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Loan Activation Assistant to join our clients team in Chester.

As a Loan Activation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all loan agreements are processed and activated within our agreed service levels.

Your strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and commitment to exceptional customer service will be essential in this position.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Follow a prescribed process to activate loan agreements promptly and accurately.
  • Validate customer information using fraud checks to ensure data accuracy and security.
  • Process loans within required timeframes, meeting established service level agreements.
  • Dispatch "welcome letters" to customers once loan agreements are activated.
  • Conduct customer bank verification calls as needed.
  • Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls from our Dealer/Broker network and customers with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Report any suspicions of money laundering to the appropriate authorities as necessary.
  • Foster positive working relationships with other business areas, including Underwriting, Sales, other Operational teams, and the supporting Dealer/Broker network.
  • Continually seek opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Regularly review root cause analysis to identify and eliminate any barriers along the customer journey.
  • Adhere to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly, ensuring a fair and ethical approach to customer interactions.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, including post and document management.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the company's Vision and Values.

Required Skills:


  • Possess an analytical and logical approach to problemsolving.
  • Exhibit excellent telephony skills, including active listening and effective communication.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.
  • Display strong problemsolving skills, using creativity and critical thinking to resolve issues.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of departmental and business policies and procedures.

Salary:
£19,500.00-£21,215.00 per year
