Description

An opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Clinical Support Worker - Older Adult In-patient, on a permanent basis.

An opportunity to work within a dynamic nursing team within the area of mental health care

To undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the Registered Nurse, within a hospital ward.

The post-holder will require to work without direct supervision on a regular basis, referring to the registered nurse as required.

KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB

  • SVQ III in healthcare or working towards, or equivalent knowledge and experience working in a mental health or learning disability field for a minimum of 2 years
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a challenging environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised
