Absolute Recruit are currently partnered with a prestigious organisation who is currently expanding therefore seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Clerk in Watford.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has experience in a Senior Accounts Payable role who is either immediately available or on short notice period to start a 6 month contract.

You will be able to hit the ground running processing high volumes ofinvoices and can manage a heavy workload.

What you will be doing:

  • You will be processing invoices, credit, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations
  • Complying with internal procedures
  • Building meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manual data entry using Excel
  • Identifying and driving process changes to improve accuracy of reported data

What you get:

Salary:
up to £35,000 depending on experience.

  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Hybrid working 4 days in the office

What you need:

  • Immediately available or on a short notice
  • Strong Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong organisation skills
  • At least 2 years' experience
  • Experience using Sage 200 desirable but not essential
