    Description

    My client, a manufacturer of specialist catering equipment is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to cover the South West territory incorporating Bristol, Swindon, Reading, Newport Cardiff and Exeter.

    With an established and innovative product range familiar to all in the commercial catering sector, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a true market leader.

    I am looking for applicants with a background in foodservice sales, whether that is selling food or non-food catering equipment or disposables to the catering and hospitality sector.

    If candidates have been a chef or have a culinary background and passion for cooking that would be of real interest to my client.

    The role will involve advising, demonstrating and selling these fantastic products to end-user customers and catering dealers and distributers. Customers would include Pubs, Restaurants, hotels, schools, hospitals, care homes and contract caterers.

    There will be close workings with key catering dealers and distributors, and kitchen design companies.

    For the successful candidate my client is offering a competitive package. With a good basic salary, very achievable commission and bonus. Historically the sales team have all earnt in access of 80% of their bonus. A company car, mobile phone, laptop, pension and healthcare is part of the package.
