An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual with excellent customer care skills to join our South Hub team based in Grangetown/Butetown and STAR Hubs. The hubs provide a professional front line advice service to customers on Housing Benefit & the Council Tax Reduction scheme, Housing including the Welfare Reform Act and a wide range of council services including library provision.

This role requires the provision of professional, high-quality advice on Housing Benefit, Council Tax, Welfare Benefit, Money Advice, Welfare Reform, Housing Enquiries, Homeless prevention and a wide range of general Council services, resolving enquiries at the first point of contact wherever possible.

The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of a full Library service, participate in the delivery of Hub/Library events and work collaboratively with various partner organisations to provide a holistic service.
You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, work well in a team and have a flexible approach.

You will have a positive attitude to new challenges with a willingness to adapt quickly to change.

You will have good communication and IT skills and the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner.

You will work well in a team and will be required to be flexible, particularly in relation to location of work which may vary.
