    The Lakes Bar & Kitchen is a hugely popular and busy restaurant, situated in the exclusive Lakes By Yoo estate, serving both residents and guests from the estate, as well as open to the general public.

    Wed like you to enjoy fast paced, seasonal and ingredient led cookery with a supportive FOH team, backed up by our head office in Cirencester.

    As we continue to elevate our offerings, we are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen brigade.
    Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and execution

    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards
    • Contribute to the development of seasonal menus, incorporating fresh, locally sourced ingredients and creative culinary techniques
    • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
    • Support the Head Chef in inventory management, stock control, and cost optimization initiatives
    Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant or similar establishment

    • Leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff to excel
    • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certifications
