Job Title:
QA Engineer (SCADA)


The role:

As a QA Engineer (SCADA), you will oversee operational networks to ensure the optimal performance of network and telemetry operations.

Operating within an Infrastructure/Application ITIL-based support environment, you'll play a critical role in maintaining top-tier service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
Ensure testing follows a standardized approach according to the defined Test Strategy and Approach.
Collaborate with SCRUM Teams to represent test efforts in User Stories and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Review test scripts, ensuring they are detailed and align with requirements.
Monitor and report on test progress, ensuring technical scope and quality standards are met.
Identify and manage risks and issues related to testing.
Produce Test Status reports and other relevant KPIs.
Provide leadership and guidance on testing matters within the assigned area.


Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Good depth of Test Quality Assurance experience.
Experience in real-time operations for Power Network Control Systems, Telemetry-based products, and Communications Protocols (IEC101).
Strong experience testing across the Test Lifecycle.
Strong business process-based test experience.
Experience using JIRA Test Management and good Dashboard Reporting, Defect Management.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to power systems and control systems engineering (e.g., IEC 61850, IEEE standards).

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Salary Range:
£35,000 - £40,000 base
