Description

At Converge, we believe that if we are going to be building the cities, structures, and societies of the future then something has to change.

We also believe that change will be impossible if you are not measuring what's actually happening on the ground.

That's why we are building our Physical Intelligence Platform, Construction DNA, to help the industry build the future more efficiently, more safely, and more sustainably.

We're a small but ever-growing team of 54 people with a global outlook, counting 17 nationalities (and even more languages) among us.

As a team, we are passionate about cutting-edge digital innovation and driven by our mission to build the future more efficiently, safely and sustainably.

Come join us

The Role
We're looking for a smart, curious and organised individual to join Converge in the role of Operations Assistant.

In this role, you will join our friendly Operations department who sit at the heart of our business.

The Operations team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are delivered seamlessly and on time to our customers all over the world.

Whilst we have some established systems in place, continuous improvement is central to the philosophy at Converge and there is a great opportunity to make this role your own by bringing a proactive, problem-solving approach to build a bigger and better Converge.

As a rapidly growing company there will also be great opportunities for personal development and professional growth as we scale.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Stock control
  • Handling, storing, counting and distributing parts. Carrying out regular cycle counting to ensure we have the correct safety stock levels in place. This will require you to build a strong understanding of company systems and build close working relationships with our global suppliers.

  • Product assembly

  • You will get involved in some light assembly and QC testing, which will help to further expand your endtoend understanding of our product.

  • Relationship Management

  • Proactively communicating with couriers and ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations to ensure deliveries of our products reach their destinations safely, securely, and on time and also we are shipping in a reliable and costeffective way.

  • Administration

  • Maintaining internal records so some familiarity with spreadsheets is essential. Allocating materials between departments and assisting the wider Operations team with tasks which keep everything running smoothly.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take your first steps into the dynamic world of construction technology.

  • You have bags of common sense and initiative. You thrive in a fast moving, hands on and team orientated role.
  • You're a practical thinker who loves being hands on. If there's a problem, you'll fix it
  • You like to learn new skills and you're excited by the prospect of being part of a scaling technology company.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You communicate with suppliers and colleagues in a professional, thoughtful way.
  • If you have a background in operations, assembly, or logistics that is great, but it is not a must have.
Nice to haves

  • An interest in the construction industry and construction technology
