Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Yeovil who are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior or Senior to join their Business Services team.

You will be working with a varied and diverse client base, providing accounts and tax services including the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, tax compliance, dealing with client queries, and assisting junior staff.

The role can be seen in more detail below:

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation/ review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Liaising with HMRC
Mentoring trainees/ junior staff
Visiting clients at their premises
Dealing with client queries

Requirements:

AAT Qualified/ ACA/ ACCA Student/ Part Qualified/ Qualified
Minimum 2 years Practice experience is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
