About The Role

We are recruiting for part-time waking night support workers (approximately 25 hours per week). Your role will be dedicated to working with a young man with complex care needs, living with his parents and younger siblings in their own home in the Ross on Wye area. You will be supporting this young man with all activities of daily living, and you will need to build up a good understanding of what he needs, as he is non-verbal and unable to mobilize. He is in need of constant supervision, and he has poor swallow and poor cough reflexes, which requires frequent oral suction. You will need to respond quickly and appropriately to his needs.


About You
Experience of complex care would be very beneficial

You will be independent, friendly, approachable, confident, reliable and trustworthy

You will have a flexible approach to meet the needs of this young man

The ability to understand privacy within the home environment is essential

Registered on the DBS update service would be beneficial but not essential

Non smoker

Shift Times
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday - 9pm to 7am


Pay Rates
£16.00 per hour Monday to Thursday night shifts

£17.00 per hour Sunday night shifts

£10.50 per hour training rate
