This role sits within Energy Sales.Where our class leading business produce uncompromising safety solutions for businesses whose people and equipment operate in harsh and safety critical environments.
This is predominantly home based but you will need to attend product training in the first three months and attend the london office once a week at most after training but this can be flexible.

Additionally, supporting pro-active outbound and reactive marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Key priorities:
The specific role of the Technical Sales Engineer will be to:
- Provide first line technical product support.
- Provide full support to both internal and external colleagues of all levels and departments.
- Prioritise work load to maximise commercial impact of special products.
- Follow up and close open sales opportunities/quotes.
- Develop opportunities in conjunction with outbound, proactive marketing campaigns across all 4 key vertical sectors.
- Innovative, creative and willing to assist in developing and implementing new products and services.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide solution based approach on formulating quotations and increase sustainable sales through high accuracy.
- Build and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering departments to ensure viability of proposed solution and delivery timescale.
- Optimise customer satisfaction through enhancement of internal quote process with appropriate contact and speed of quote delivery.
- Develop strong and professional customer relationships.
- Demonstrate strong time management.
- Lead generation and qualification Supervisory responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualification requirements:

- Preferred: MS Office
- Essential (min qualification): IT Literate
- Experience of working in a customer based environment
Language skills:
Ability to read and understand complex documents including technical rules/requirements across different regulatory contexts.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and present in a highly professional manner.
Other skills and abilities:
- Ability to understand and follow network diagrams and/or circuit diagrams
- Strong Technical Background
- Switchgear or Electrical distribution
