About the roleAn opportunity has arisen for a Senior Client Funds Officer to join the Client Funds Team.
The role will support the Client Funds Team Leader and will be responsible for the day to day operational management of a caseload of Appointeeship/Deputyship clients for North Northamptonshire Council.
The Client Funds Service delivers financial support to clients who lack capacity.The work is with vulnerable adults and requires an individual who can communicate with customers and a variety of other organisations and departments.
What will you be doing?About you
- Ability to understand and interpret national legislation and guidance and adhere to local policies and procedures.
- Proven customer service background with experience of conflict resolution, negotiation and diplomacy skills. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, able to influence and negotiate when advising and supporting clients.
- Experience of working independently, scheduling and prioritising own work to meet service requirements.
- Ability to travel throughout the county to meetings with clients /other council representatives and outside organisations is required.

- We are undertaking consultation with the Trade Unions on terms and conditions and the future NNC pay structure and during this time are appointing new employees on interim spot salaries. You will be advised of the outcome and any impact on your role once this work is complete._
