We are looking to recruit a passionate Compliance Support Manager to join Rank's Venues Compliance team.


As the Compliance Support Manager, you will support compliance within the company, acting as part of an independent and objective team to review and evaluate compliance issues.

You will monitor, assess, review and report on any compliance-related issues identified and provide compliance input into business projects.


Responsibilities;

  • Conducting secondline defence monitoring to ensure that the policies, procedures and equipment used by the businesses are fit for purpose and that the businesses comply with all relevant gaming and liquor licensing legislation.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of strategies and policies/procedures to ensure compliance, collaborating with other departments as required.
  • Collating data and producing accurate reports on a regular basis to keep the company informed of its level of compliance and for submission to the Gambling Commission in accordance with licensing requirements.
  • Working closely with colleagues and the Head of Compliance (venues) to offer highquality and respected service to the businesses.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert, delivering highquality analysis and support for all brands.
  • Supporting operational colleagues in improving daytoday operations.
  • Encouraging communication and collaboration across the business, team and stakeholders in order to build strong relationships and develop crossfunctional working.
  • Confidently representing Rank's businesses in communication with the Gambling Commission, third parties and customers.
  • Liaising with Rank's Licensing solicitors.
  • Making decisions in the best interest of Rank, to maintain its licences and timely processing/payment of annual fees.
  • Principally office based, with a requirement to visit venues and other office locations as required._

Qualifications

  • Practical knowledge of the UK compliance and regulatory environment relevant to Rank's businesses (Gambling Act 2005, Licensing Act 2003, Money Laundering Regulations 2007, General Data Protection Regulations & marketing regulations).
  • Gaming experience in a casino/bingo environment is advantageous
  • Confident, ambitious, highly motivated, meticulous, operationally aware and a problem solver. Able to identify practical solutions to challenges and to work with minimum supervision.
  • Familiarity with operational, financial and quality assurance procedures.
  • Able to provide clear and accurate compliance advice to assist in commercial negotiations.
  • Excellent listening, presentation, communication, report writing and influencing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people across various departments.
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
