We have a fantastic opportunity in Leeds for a Vehicle Appraiser, you will be within our busy workshop team. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.

Big Motoring World Group is an expanding dealer group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a Vehicle Appraiser at our Preparation Site.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support.

What we Offer

Work shift Pattern is 08:00am 17:30pm (Monday
Friday)

Contracted Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Salary Base: £26,591 per annum (based on experience)
Gaining experience from colleagues in a professional environment
Excellent working and team environment
Uniform given, heated workshop and parking on site

Duties and responsibilities

Inspecting our fleet of vehicles for faults
Repairing minor faults onsite
Taking vehicles to and from workshops for repairs
Provide management with details of major defects
Ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order
Maintain high standards of housekeeping

What we are looking for

Knowledge of mechanics, electrical and electronic systems, and bodywork
Ability to provide vehicle maintenance and technical support
Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
Time management, planning skills and problem solving skills
Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
Literate, numerate, and proficient computer skills
Ability to work as part of a Team
Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
A full, valid UK driving licence is required
Dealer experience preferable but not essential
