- Creation of procurement strategies, including contract drafting and negotiation.
- Development and management of multiple large-scale budgets, including monthly reforecasts and reporting of performance at senior management and board level.
- Working with colleagues and stakeholders across the wider Ocean Winds business to develop solutions to complex technical and commercial matters.
- Supporting Ocean Winds O&M and Asset Management strategies and process development programmes.
- REQUIRED ACADEMIC SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- A general understanding of energy markets, infrastructure and associated regulation and policy would be advantageous.
- Competent in all pre contract activities including the creation of procurement strategies, contract drafting and negotiation, and contract award.
- Experienced in monthly financial and accounts management processes.
- Possess the required commercial management skills, capable of developing and managing multiple large-scale budgets, including reforecasts and reporting.
- Proficient with all Microsoft 365 Software Packages, including the capability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data in Excel, and preparation of Power Point presentations.

As Ocean Winds operational portfolio is increasing there is a requirement for a 'Senior Contract Management Associate' to support the management of long-term operational and maintenance agreements, and the development of associated business processes and strategies.
Experienced in managing complex contracts within the renewable energy sector, particularly the onshore or offshore wind farm environment would be beneficial.
LANGUAGES:
Ocean Winds has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written. Proficiency in other languages will be valued.
The main office location for the role will be Edinburgh, Scotland.
However, as Ocean Winds operates a global portfolio, travel to projects in the portfolio and to other global corporate offices will be required.
Ocean Winds also operates a remote working policy, where employees are entitled to work some days from home.
