    Deputy Nursery Manager

    Our client's nursery, located in a leafy suburb close to Sefton Park, consists of six beautiful rooms and two outdoor areas that are inviting and filled with inspiring resources to provoke children's learning.

    You will be someone who is experienced in Early Years and delivering quality standards of childcare and education to children and families accessing our service.

    You will be someone who is an inspirational leader, who is able develop and maintain highly effective staff development and leadership practise, ensuing all staff members achieve and deliver the very best possible standards, in an inclusive and supportive environment.

    With provision for 0-3-year-olds, highly committed, qualified and caring practitioners and dedicated management, the children are fully supported in their learning at every stage of their development.

    The Role

    The nursery is searching for an individual who is not just passionate about childcare but is also equipped with strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

    As Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading, inspiring and engaging the team to deliver exceptional care and education.

    Your responsibilities include:

    Effectively leading and managing the team.

    Delivering high engagement with staff and families

    Ensuring consistent application and embedding of expected levels of practice

    Overseeing safeguarding, health and safety practices and child protection

    Be part of the staff ratio

    Providing training, coaching, and mentoring to the nursery team

    Implementing a robust performance management strategy including staff supervisions and reviews

    Skills and Experience

    Level 3 qualification and above

    Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience as a Deputy Manager
