About the Role:

As a Network Planner you will be responsible for Planning activity within your assigned geographic region. Assisting in the managing of Design Partners ensuring deliverables are to the required standards and to agreed SLA's. Recommend changes to ensure our designs are compliant and cost effective. Assist in defining standards and architecture for rural builds, suggesting improvements to architecture and processes

What you will be responsible for:

To design and oversee design of agreed architectures to satisfy company and customer requirements.
Ensure network architecture and planning guidelines are understood and upheld
Work with 3rd party design partners and internal teams to deliver complex rural FTTP designs to agreed standards and architecture, monitoring performance against agreed SLA's
QC designs and provide constructive feedback to ensure efficient and cost effective designs
Conduct walkthrough surveys to validate initial designs and adapt as necessary to on the ground requirements also to ascertain the installation requirements and assess the Health & Safety of individual sites
To actively support data quality within Voneus asset and customer management systems.
Assisting with the continuing improvement of the planning department and the design and installation methodology.
Provide timely and accurate design solutions to deal with engineering challenges and maintain an efficient build program
Manage exceptions to design rules
Liaising with internal departments including Build, Consumer engagement, People Team, Strategy and Finance.
Liaising with external companies including Design Partners and Build Partners

What we are looking for:

5 years' experience in Planning FTTP projects.
Experience in utilising PIA with an understanding of the rules.
GIS operator experience particularly QGIS.
Hold up to date accreditations in Street works and BT.
Knowledge of cabling standards and regulations customer installations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
A positive and enthusiastic approach to work
Strong organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback.
Ability to creatively solve problems.
Flexible approach to work location.
Driving Licence is necessary and a willingness to travel.
