- Professional qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of HVDC technology and power systems engineering
- Experience in coordinating project disciplines and external subcontractors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and communicate customer requirements
- Understanding of Systems Engineering principles
- Knowledge of power systems and AC/HVDC system interactions
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Participation in professional bodies such as CIGRE and IET
- Understanding of HVDC scheme design
