    Hourly Rate:
    £23 per hour + paid breaksShifts: Days/Nights availableToni at Amber Mace is currently recruiting an experienced staff nurse for a lovely medium sized care home rated GOOD by the CQC. This Nursing home with a reputation of delivering excellent quality care. Benefitting from an exceptional reputation within the area, the home caters for elderly residents who may also be suffering with age related conditions. The home is set in beautiful landscaped gardens with lovely views.

    As a valued part of the team you will deliver excellent, person-centred care to the elderly residents of the home providing a home from home experience.

    You will also be responsible for administering medication, personal care, maintaining patient records and developing therapeutic relationships with the residents.

    The team within this home have worked incredibly well together to achieve great results. Due to the homes location you will need to have a valid driving licence and own vehicle.


    Duties for Staff Nurse Include:

    • Providing a high standard of care to residents
    • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
    • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
    • Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
    • Accepting personal and shared responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing careThe ideal applicant will have;
    • A valid nursing Pin (RGN/RMN)
    • Be dedicated to providing excellent care to residents
    • The ability to work well as part of a team
    • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships
    • Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards
    • Be experienced in elderly/dementia care
    • Hold an enthusiastic commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
    • Must have a valid driving licence
