- Site surveying
- Installation, repair and maintenance of monitors and associated network equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and working with systems involving software, electronics and mechanical systems
- Able to perform basic mechanical repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment
- Hands-on experience in a mechanical role
- A valid driving licence is essential
- Experience of working within remote diagnostic, technical support solutions in a customer support environment
- Willing to travel both within the UK and on a global basis for up to 50% of the time, sometimes at relatively short notice
- Knowledge of foreign languages including Arabic, French, German, Polish or Portuguese would be helpful

Polytec are looking for a Field Service Technician for our client based in Cambridge. Extensive travel is required for this role both within the UK and worldwide.
This is a physical role as you will be required to carry equipment in all weather conditions during field visits.
Although this is a temporary role in the first instance it has potential to become permanent for the right person.
