We have an opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineerto join our team.

The work will entail design of panel and field installations from concept to on-site commissioning relating to automated control systems.

LV distribution and cable calculations
Generating electrical control schematic diagrams
Generating PLC wiring diagrams and I/O schedules
Machinery safety circuit design and risk assessments to BS EN ISO 13849/60261
A work history of electrical design preferably within an industrial environment

It would be an advantage to understand component SIL and machine PL ratings, however, training can be provided if required.

Preferably have knowledge of PLC control wiring systems, instrumentation and motor starter control types
Experience of AutoCad, Amtech
Hold Electrical qualifications BTEC and/or NVQ3
A work history of electrical design preferably within an industrial environment
