- Salary up to £37,336
- 4-day shifts – (7.30am-5.30pm)
- No evenings and only 1 in 4 weekends
- Continuous training and development programme
- Bonus 1 – June – Up to 5% individual performance related bonus
- Bonus 2 – February – Up to 5% hospital/company related bonus
- Annual pay reviews and increases
- Administer drugs in accordance with the NMC guidelines for the safe and secure handling of medicines.
- Undertake all care for patients whilst in the hospital including diagnostic tests and post-operative care.
- Assist with stock control, ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available.
- To always ensure patient confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
- Provide support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff.
- Admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day.
- A current NMC registration
- 12 months post-registration experience as Registered Nurse/RGN/Staff Nurse
- Passionate about developing a career in Ophthalmology.
