The Business

Nigel Wright have been appointed on an exclusive basis to work with a fantastic, large organisation based in the centre of Newcastle (hybrid working and parking).

Our client is looking to appoint a Financial Accountant to join their team at short notice onan interim basis for 6 months.


The Role
This Financial Accountant position is suited to an experienced professional, ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified.

Duties will include:

  • Leading on the preparation of monthly forecasting
  • Acting as key point of contact for external audit
  • Journal entry and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Submitting monthly and quarterly accounts
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensuring the business is up to date on all accounting standards

Other Details

  • Annual Salary: £45,000£50,000
  • 37 hours per week
  • Annual holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
  • Hybrid working and city centre offices with parking
