Nigel Wright are delighted to be partnering with an established North East organisation in their search for a Property Manager.


The Role

Reporting directly into the CFO of the business, the Property Manager will not only look after the a property portfolio, but also develop it and drive growth in this area of the business.

The responsibilities of the Property Manager on a day-to-day basis includes:

  • Managing lease enquiries through to completion.
  • Maintaining a tenancy schedule to look after vacant/occupied accommodation, rental values and lease renewals.
  • Acting as a liaison with tenants, conducting inspects and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to ensure the well ordered invoicing for tenant charges/rents.
  • Developing the Real Estate Strategy of the business through knowledge of the property market.
  • Being involved in annual budgeting, analysis and reporting alongside other members of the business.
  • Working with the legal team to support lease negotiations.

The Requirements and Process
In order to qualify for this role as a Property Manager you should:

  • Have experience in the management of commercial lettings and landlord/tenant matters.
  • Be able to collaborate with different areas of a business towards a common goal.
  • Have a sound knowledge of health and safety issues from a commercial property perspective.
  • Be an effective communicator.
  • Be able to work individually and be organised in your workload.
  • Have a desire to grow a business area under your supervision.
