Fourth is actively seeking a seasoned and pragmatic SRE Lead/Manager to bolster our Platform Engineering Team in London.

We are progressing rapidly in developing automated, highly reliable, and zero-downtime infrastructure pipelines that are becoming the standard across our entire business.

This role calls for a leader who is both strategic and tactical, ready to take on the challenge of scaling our infrastructure to match our growth ambitions.

The SRE Lead/Manager will be an integral part of a London-based team, meticulously mapping, documenting, and innovating our tooling, instrumentation, and automation processes.

This role is designed for someone who is adept at both evaluating the current landscape and engineering the solutions needed to build robust, elastic, and scalable infrastructure.

Your efforts will be central to ensuring that our platforms not only meet current demands but are also future proofed for scalability and redundancy.

The role...

You will be a seasoned engineer with demonstrable provenance in Infrastructure cloud design, build and configuration. Working within a continuous delivery model will be the norm and (competent in one or more programming languages) you will operate with a software engineering mind set.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Configuration Management (Chef)
Cloud providers (Azure and AWS)
Jenkins CI/CD
Azure DevOps
Implementing solutions to provide observability of platform status and health
Software defined networking
Automated deployment tooling (Octopus, Azure DevOps)
Terraform
Configuration Management (Chef)
Kubernetes (cloud based)
Docker (Kubernetes or AWS ECS Fargate)
Extensive cloud experience (ideally Azure and AWS)
Programming and scripting language used in production systems
