We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our experienced team in delivering high quality patient centred care.

Edith Cavell ward is a 28 bedded ward specialising in Gastrointestinal and Rheumatological Medicine.

If you want to work in an environment which is fast paced, you enjoy working with members of the public and being part of a team, then working as the Housekeeper for Edith Cavell is the job for you.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to;

  • You will be responsible for general appearance of the ward. Ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Marinating strict standards in line with infection control and health and safety.
  • Ensuring equipment is in clean and working order. Reporting repairs as required.
  • You will be monitoring, ordering and ensuring correct storage of essential stock. This also includes ensuring adequate supplies of personal protective equipment.
  • You may be involved in audits, clerical work, and assisting with complaints and concerns.
  • Working alongside Catering team
