Description

Reed Procurement & Supply Chain are currently representing a large UK logistics company, based in Swindon in securing an experience Warehouse Supervisor on a permanent basis.

The purpose of the role is to supervise operations incorporating all functions from receipt to delivery ensuring all aspects of customer requirements are met within the agreed budgets, health and safety standards and quality compliance.

Also providing leadershipand motivation to the team whilst ensuring all KPI's are met.

Duties will include:

Supervising warehouse teams whilst ensuring all customer outbound deliveries and products are received, handled, picked and despatched accurately.
Understanding and using warehouse management systems.
Working in a way that always safeguards both your personal safety and the safety of your coworkers.
Accurate completion of all out bound and inbound load paperwork.
Responsible for highlighting any potential quality issues, including hygiene and damage issues to the warehouse manager.
Completing necessary process control and quality documented records efficiently. (QC checks)
Shift management, handover processes with accurate reporting.
The possession of both Flexi and Counterbalance forklift drivers license advantage but not essential.
To be numerate and methodical in working methods.
