Have you overseen a global financial reporting team and a complex, best practice multi-currency, multi-GAAP consolidation process? Are you a driven, well organised, and efficient person with strong technical IFRS accounting experience and practiced at managing complex Big 4 Audits? As the Global Head of Reporting you will own the group monthly consolidation and close process under a multi-currency, multi-entity, multi-GAAP group, and all financial statement preparation and audits. You will build a team of 3 experienced accountants to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of the month end and year end accounts. What you will be doing:

• Oversee monthly reporting close process and preparation of consolidated reporting package in line with published timeframes
• Closely control all consolidation entries within the finance system, with balance sheet reconciliations prepared monthly.
• Complete all statutory audits and filing of entity accounts in line with statutory deadlines.
• Oversee relationship with Group and local audit firms and other advisors.
• Monitor and report compliance with lending covenants and information requirements across the group.
• Own group IFRS and local GAAP compliance, assisting the financial controllers, monitoring changes in accounting and financial reporting rules, producing technical position papers.
• Assist the FP&A, Finance Business Partner and Sales teams in comprehending consolidation reports, IFRS and other technical aspects of accounting.
• Continuously improve the efficiency and control of all consolidation, audit and reporting processes to achieve first-rate quality.

What we are looking for from you:
Essential:

• Heading a high performing global financial reporting team
• ACA qualified accountant with demonstrable technical accounting know-how, particularly IFRS
• Handling complex audit relationship and timetables
• Preparing consolidated and financial statements and directing month end

Desirable:

• Process improvement
• Organisation and communication
• Prior experience in a PE environment
• Research of issues and writing high quality position papers
