Description
Performing repairs and maintenance in warehouse/plant, office facilities and ,equipment. Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Configuring energy management control systems within our current facilities, maintenance of air compressors, and lawn sprinkler systems around all our buildings. Using hand and power tools testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment. Must be able to understand and use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, and drawings. Typically performs work in the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, drywall, painting, machine and equipment repair, and electrical. Assembling modular furniture, minor construction and repairs to the interior and exterior of the facilities. This position could also spend up to 50% of their time on the production floor assisting with assembling conveyors. HVAC license would be a plus.
