We are looking for highly motivated, innovative and results driven colleague to work with a fantastic team within the department to drive forward ambitions in our new strategic plan.

This is a critical leadership position within the University, driving the success of the Research, Impact & Culture team.

As the successful post holder, you will work with the Director to take the lead in devising and developing departmental strategy, as well as lead on key strategic projects and deputising, as appropriate, for the Director.

You will represent the University externally to build collaborations and raise the institution's profile, which will involve travel within the UK and internationally.

You will require an in-depth understanding of the Higher Education research and innovation environment and funding landscape, and will be proactive and innovative to help drive and build further success.
