We are looking for a 1st AD to become a pivotal role in Aardman's latest flagship Shaun the Sheep project.


As 1st AD your main responsibility will be keeping the shoot on schedule to create an organised and positive environment within which the Director and floor crew can work effectively.

This is a high energy environment and will require strong management skills in order to maintain the smooth running of the production.


A key part of this role will be scheduling and managing the Director's time as effectively as possible on the studio floor ensuring that set meetings are run to maximum efficiency.

This will include working closely with the PM and Producer to prioritise demands for Directors' time across depts.

  • You will be responsible for taking into consideration puppet count, set availability, crew numbers and shoot rate.

About You:

We are looking for people with previous 1st AD or 2nd AD experience.

Previous experience in stop frame animation production is essential as well as being proficient with MS Office skills.
