    We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing data team, this is more than a standard data role. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively.

    The Data Team is responsible for collecting all the primary and secondary data required for Lumina's products and making it accessible internally and to clients. The Data Analyst role sits within the Data Team, whose objective is to provide data in the right format for every type of data user. This position joins the data team reporting to the Data Scientist.

    As the Data Analyst your main objective is to restructure raw data from our data collection into a format that fits our databases.

    What you'll be doing:

  • Restructure and maintain data into a database-friendly multi-table format for all our product trackers and bespoke research.
  • Implement systems to help the optimisation of data efficiency and data quality.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources to enrich our internal data.
  • Assist in the identification, design, development, and maintenance of new and existing data tools and applications.
  • Troubleshooting our databases and BI tools to ensure minimal client disruption.
  • Set up and maintenance of automated data processes.
  • Track KPIs of our systems and processes
  • Requirements

    What you'll need:

  • Previous experience working with survey data.
  • Python skills preferable and a passion for learning new languages and technologies.
  • High numeracy skills
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server).
  • Advanced Excel data handling and modelling.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to spot trends, errors and highlight / rectify.
  • Understand the process of acquiring, cleansing, and transforming data.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Be able to meet deadlines and communicate progress.
  • Ability to adapt if plans change.
  • Be a self-starter and motivator with the ability to work in an autonomous fast paced environment.
  • It would be great if you also have:

  • Data visualisation and reporting tools.
  • Prior commercial experience, working with consumer data in a data analytics role.
  • Web analytics and behavioural tracking (i.e., Google Analytics)
