    SECURITY CLEARANCE: Involves working within the UK Defence industry, requiring the applicants to be UK Nationals Only (No Dual Nationals) and able to be security cleared to a UK Eyes Only SC level

    As a Solution Architect you will manage the technical requirements as well as the introduction of improvements where necessary to design solutions and processes. You will also lead the investigation of any design changes, and implementing them in a controlled manner.

    HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

    • Responsible for the certification and authorisation of all aspects of requirements devolvement, design, design proving, manufacture, integration and testing
    • Responsible for the preparation, updating and custody of the system/architectural specifications, drawings and other data associated with the design
    • Promoting and supporting system design using a Model Based System Engineering approach
    • Providing Technical Expertise to high and low level technical and non-technical personnel
    • Acting as a System Design Authority on a number of projects

    ABOUT YOU

    • Experience leading complex software/hardware product development, integration and qualification
    • Experience of embedded software development utilising custom hardware
    • Experience of all or some of the following: Cryptographic product development; Requirements Management (e.g. using DOORS); Data/voice communications protocols (e.g. networking, network management, VOIP); SysML and/or UML; Sparx System Enterprise Architect
