- Following a 'checklist', you will fault find, repair/replace, 'kit', clean and send.
- Update the company systems in regards to faults, repairs, and parts usage.
- Support the numerous bespoke projects we receive from unit modifications to cable preparation to a straight 'test and clean'.
- Full training provided on both system work and 'assess and repair' status on each unit.
- Be part of the 'quality improvements' by updating colleagues on common faults found etc.
- Maintain your own 'training manual' and keep your own notes on each product you are trained on.
- Soldering, dependant on candidate.

Advantage are pleased to be recruiting an assembly repair technician based on the outskirts of leeds.They are currently looking for a Repair Technician to join their exisiting Repairs team on a temporary-permanent basis.
Their repair centre has varied positions including Technician, Quality, and Engineer.
The Repair Technician role is to assess the unit, find the fault and replace/repair whilst also carrying out a multipoint test following a standard script per unit.
There are over 100 products that we assess and repair, which require varied skill levels.We are looking for a focused Technician from an electrical/electronic repair background, or a Production Technician or similar that has a passion for repairing electrical/electronic or motor vehicles.
