Our client based in West Bromwich is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their busy finance department to support the payroll function on an initial 3-month contract.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- End to end payroll processing.
- To ensure that all employees are paid on time in an accurate and timely mannermonthly payroll via our payroll bureau.
- Processing starters, leavers and holiday requests
- To deal with all monthend and yearend payroll matters such as P60's and to assist the finance team with any issues relating these payroll processes and associated audits
- Managing the company's pension schemes
- Post relevant payroll and pension monthly journals
- Preparing statutory returns as needed
- Monday
- Friday
Salary:
£26k-£28k (Dependant on experience)
