An exciting opportunity has been created at eStar Truck and Van Knowsley for an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team of professionals working from this brand-new dealership.

The Company

eStar Truck and Van is an approved Mercedes-Benz dealership group with 5 locations covering the North-West and North Wales, selling the full range of new and used Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles including the Vito, Sprinter and Citan vans, Atego, Actros, Arocs and Econic trucks, as well as the FUSO Canter.

They also provide aftersales support for the full range of Mercedes-Benz vans and trucks, and FUSO Canter with 24-hour commercial vehicle workshops, suppliers of Mercedes-Benz GenuineParts and ReMan Parts.

24-hour roadside assistance and recovery, VOSA Authorised Testing Facilities, Servicing and MOT class 4, 5, 7.

The Role
As a Parts Advisor you will be an integral member of the aftersales team. You will be responsible for supporting the day to day running of the parts department.

Daily duties will include receiving parts into stock, booking of parts to workshop jobs, maintaining stock levels and dealing with retail customers.

Knowledge of vehicle layout, parts catalogues and computer stock lists would be an advantage, but they will be the first things you will be trained in.

You will ensure the companies pricing structures are kept up-to-date, and that stock control is always secure and well maintained.

You will be the first point of contact both face to face and over the telephone and will be expected to provide excellent customer service.

Hours:
flexible working over 45-hour week

About You

Proven experience in a motor industry parts environment
Brilliant communication
Parts and service experience within a franchised/truck or van motor trade environment.
IT literate.
Enthusiasm to deliver the Mercedes-Benz experience and continuously improve product knowledge of self and others.

Basic salary £25,000 plus bonus opportunity
