    About the 1:1 Teaching role:

    Hourly Rate: £28 – £35

    Location: Cambridgeshire

    Flexible working hours: Monday to Friday 9am-12pm and/or 1pm-4pm

    Age Group: Key stage 1-4

    Type of Provision: Face to Face

    ** We are offering a joining bonus of £250** T&C's apply

    Sugarman's Children Services are looking for experienced Teachers to provide face to face alternative provision to SEN / SEND/ SEMH/ children and young people with challenging behaviours in and around Cambridge.

    Our Children's Services division specialises in supplying trained and experienced teachers during or after school, including in a student's own home, on school premises or an alternative agreed venue.

    Our approach focuses solely on achieving goals for students, supporting growth, knowledge and development to demonstrate progress and harness their potential. To enable us to achieve this, we put significant thought into matching children with the right teaching approach, location and tutor. We find working this way leads to a greater achievement against targets.

    To be eligible for this role you must have the following:

  • QTS or Equivalent
  • Have a strong subject knowledge (English, Maths, Science and Functional Skills)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with children / young people in a classroom setting
  • Enhanced DBS on the update system
  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Safeguarding Policy
  • Taught in a classroom setting in the UK
