Hedin Automotive London Ltd is a newly established business in the UK operating across 4 sites in South London at Brooklands, Croydon, West Bromley and Dartford.

It is 100% privately owned by Hedin Group who are the second biggest privately owned Motor Dealer in the world operating 260 car dealerships, 46 brands across 13 countries with approximately 8300 employees.


Position:


We have an exciting opportunity for a
Parts Advisor to join our Parts team on site at our
Mercedes-Benz of Dartford dealership, on a permanent basis for 45 hours per week.

The working pattern for this role is, Monday to Saturday with weekend shifts being required on a rota basis.


This role will also need to ensure that all parts' orders are efficiently and accurately processed, that all stock and purchase records are correctly maintained and fully auditable.


About you:


You will be a highly organised individual and will ideally have experience of working within a similar fast paced role within the automotive industry.


Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential as you will be talking to customers directly either face to face or over the phone.

You will be passionate about all things related to Parts and the automotive industry as whole, be able to deliver a succinct first class service and provide key information on all of our products and available services.


About the role (Overview):


  • Ensure all orders are as per requirements, returns process is documented and that stock records are up to date, correct and reconcilable
  • Dispatch all parts to the appropriate customer/department in a timely manner and to avoid any unnecessary delays
  • Assist as required with regular stock checks and annual stock audits
  • Raise accurate invoices in line with customer orders, chase/track any overdue payments and escalate internally as required
  • Maintain parts merchandising display ensuring that any promotions are visible
  • Attention to detail is paramount to this role so it is vital that all general administrative duties are completed
  • Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with professionally and are escalated as appropriate to ensure a speedy resolution
