    Press Brake Operator

    Permanent

    Huddersfield

    £30,420 per annum

    39hrs per week + Day Shift + Overtime


    Working on behalf of our client, Major Recruitment have a great opportunity for a CNC Press Brake Operator to work for a busy Manufacturing company based in Skelmanthorpe area / Huddersfield.


    The successful candidate must have previous experience working as a CNC Press Brake Operator or have previous Sheet Metal or Machine Operation experience.


    You will need the ability to interpret folding drawings, be able to work out a fold sequence, can select the correct tooling and be able to Set and Operate the CNC Press Brake Machines.


    Other key skills include:

    • Knowledge of Edward Pearson would be beneficial
    • Use of measuring equipment
    • Problem solving
    • Some Programming experience/knowledge
    • Good communication and ability to work within a team
    • Safety, Environmental and Quality awareness
    • Proven track record of working with quality initiatives
    • Must have a good work ethic and the ability to learn
