    Events Marketing Manager – International B2B Financial Conferences

    This role is hybrid, with c2 days per week in the Central London office (or more if you prefer)

    NB - you must have 3+ years of B2B Events Marketing experience to be considered for this role

    This is an exciting opportunity to join an exciting and fast growing B2B financial conferences and events business as an Events Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns for a high-value global portfolio of international Conferences & Events, within the Global Financial sector.

    Requirements:

    • Ideally 3+ years of B2B Events marketing experience, preferably within financial or professional (or any other B2B) services industries
    • Email marketing skills (ideally HubSpot)
    • Good copywriting and design skills (Canva / Adobe)
    • Confident decision maker, with the ability to assess opportunities and risks and flag these to your line manager
    • Track record of successfully designing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
    • Working knowledge of Excel and Google Analytics
    • Experience in the commercialization of events including launch events
    • Ability to work closely with sales and align marketing strategy to commercial objectives
    • Thorough knowledge of customer analytics and ability to convert data into meaningful insight
    • Experience managing and developing high-performing marketing plans/projects. With complete post event/project reporting.
    • Willingness to develop knowledge both within the marketing discipline and the industries we serve
    • Experience in digital marketing techniques and channels
    • Establish a data-driven approach to strategic and tactical decision making
    • A proven record of testing, measuring and evaluating marketing channels to optimise spend and demonstrate ROI
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate performance metrics, challenges and opportunities to the team

    Reporting to the CMO you will be responsible for:

    • Developing a Direct Response marketing strategy
    • Undertanding how Direct Response, Digital Strategy, Optimisation, Sales Funnels, UX, UI, page performance, Google AdWords, SEO and LinkedIn ad campaigns and can improve conversion rates
    • Owing the process of creating, managing and experimenting with new user acquisition campaigns
    • For running the CRM/Email Marketing System
    • Executing on a wide range of content campaigns to drive education and engagement
    • Managing Social media and driving content creation
    • Managing SEO
    • Analysing data to monitor revenue performance and page performance, help uncover areas for improvement
