    Data & Integration Architect | SSIS | SSRS | Azure Logic Apps | Azure API management | DevOps | Azure Data Factory | SQL | Oracle Database | Systems Integration | Integration Architecture

    We are thrilled to be partnering with a university who is in the market for a Data & Integrations Architect who has strong experience working with Microsoft integration tools & systems integration to work on their new implementation of an ERP system that will manage their HR and Finance, due to go live in a year. This came about as part of their new strategy to move towards Microsoft products.

    Summary of the role:

    Role: Data & Integration Architect

    Employment Type: Permanent - 2-year FTC but one of the team member will be retiring so there will be an extension

    Location: Remote work

    Salary: £46,920 - £54,567 (progression up to £61k beyond this band based on performance)

    Benefits: – Pension -14.3% employer contribution and 6.5% employee + 30 days annual leave + 12 University's closure days + public holidays

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get hands on with the latest Azure stacks (Logic Apps, Functions, Azure API, DevOps, templates etc). The university is going through major evolution with their Enterprise Architecture, and this is a platform for the successful candidate to bring best practice and influence ways of working.

    Essential skills:

    • System integrations experience (rather than BI Analytics)
    • Strong understanding of SQL OR oracle databases
    • Microsoft integration tools (SSIS, SSRS, Azure data factory)
    • Good level of communication

    Desirable skills:

    • Experience with administration and deployment of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Function, Azure API management, ARM templates in DevOps environment
    • Experience delivering projects using M365 suites (Power Platform, Power Automate, PowerApps and Power BI)
    • Formal project management qualifications
    • TOGAF qualified
    • Experience working in a Higher Education environment (Tribal SITS, API experience – StuTalk)

    Target Start Date – ASAP (can wait up to 3 months notice period)
