Main Roles and responsibilities:

To demonstrate highly specialist clinical expertise in the assessment, treatment and management of language and communication problems in children and young people, providing appropriate specialist assessment and intervention and evaluating outcomes To be an expert clinical resource for other members of staff with a strong focus on evidence based practice.

This will include members of the specialist MDT, Childrens Services managers, education staff and social care. To lead on the development and implementation of the DLD pathway for the mainstream schools team. To make appropriate differential diagnoses and highly specialist clinical decisions on the evidence from assessment of complex cases.
