Technical Coordinator / Design Coordinator - New Homes

Howells Solutions are currently recruiting for a Design and Build Coordinator/Technical Coordinator to work for a reputable House Builder based in Norfolk.

The business have a strong reputation and specialize in new build private housing.


Design Coordinator/Technical Coordinator Responsibilities;

  • Establishment of design management protocols
  • Clear communication of expectations for design deliverables with designers / design subcontractors
  • Delivery of fully cocoordinated and detailed design proposals and production information in time and within budget for design work, procurement and construction
  • Leading and minuting design team meetings
  • Liaison with the commercial team for cost checking
  • Monitoring design production
  • Design reviews and presentations to client teams
  • Control and integration of subcontractor design elements
  • Monitoring of design and resolution of technical queries
  • Distribution of design information
  • Completion, maintenance and monitoring of records
  • Document management
  • CAD drawing capability
  • Required skills & experience HNC in construction or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations and current standards and legislation
