Description
Operational To be responsible for specific functions within the service. To support the Head of Estates as required. To be a key member of the Estates Team. Develop and present reports as needed.

To provide regular information and data returns as required as required. To be responsible for leases and rented properties. To inform the Estates strategy, development, and implementation within the services. To help collate and record Estates Directorate performance statistics including data from contract support organisations.


This data reflects the quality and performance of the Estate with regard to the condition of buildings, functional suitability, space utilisation, energy efficiency, fire precautions and health & safety.

To assist with annual reporting of statistics e.g. Estates Return Information Collection (ERIC). HUMAN RESOURCES Management of community leases and rented properties.

Liaise with relevant service leads in relation to properties.

To develop and implement team / service standard operating policies and procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and consistent service delivery and development in relation to leased/rented properties.

SERVICE DEVELOPMENT To actively participate in the planning of strategic and operational developments and re-design of services. To lead on developing business cases for service development.

To identify and implement initiatives to support continuous quality improvements and service developments.

To proactively support the strategic development of the service and division CLINICAL GOVERNANCE/RISK MANAGEMENT/QUALITY To monitor and respond to incidents on the Trusts Risk Management System and ensure learning from incidents is shared and when required, leads to changes in service delivery To regularly access the risk register to update on agreed actions and, in collaboration with heads of service, ensure that risks within the service are actively managed.

To ensure that all areas of responsibility are regularly risk assessed and that risks are identified and managed effectively.

As part of this role, ensuring that all staff are aware of their health and safety responsibilities and provide effective support to ensure that all are complying with the health and safety requirements of the Trust.
