We are currently recruiting for a Liability Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, an exciting insurer based in the heart of the city.

Our client is ahead of the curve when it comes to smart and flexible working, whether from home or in the office.

The claims will be varied, and may include both lead and follow claims to a high technical level.

Key Responsibilities

Undertaking an initial evaluation of cause of loss, determining whether a claim is covered and what further information may be required.
Investigating, negotiating and settling claims within statutory and company guidelines, including coverage analysis and policy determination.
Liaising with clients, loss adjusters, solicitors, experts, brokers, MGAs and TPAs as needed for claims service and investigation.
Assisting with setting accurate, realistic and timely claim reserves to enable management to assess the company exposure.

Key Requirements

At least 4 years' Liability Claims Adjusting experience, including experience of London Company Market in Public Liability, Products Liability, and Employers' Liability.
Experience of JSMs / Mediations / Arbitrations.
Good working knowledge of CPR and JSB guidelines.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong report writing skills, including high attention to detail.
