    Description
    REMOTE - £32,000 - £40,000 depending on exp. Remote. This is a remote role with a requirement for travel to London for a monthly meeting.

    Our client is a dynamic and highly experienced team and work with a range of clients, including major developers, councils, architects, mechanical & electrical consultants, and independent contractors, delivering new and existing building energy and sustainability consultancy.

    We are looking for a highly experienced Sustainability & Energy Consultant who works in partnership with our client, who is an independent sustainability consultancy.

    They focus on high quality construction and surveying consultancy for a wide range of customers across all types of property.


    Job Role:
    To support the team in delivering SAP and Overheating calculations.
    To assist in providing energy and sustainability consultancy and energy strategy reports.
    To assist in the growth of team and services it provides.


    Responsibilities & Duties:
    Your role will require you to undertake several duties including:Undertaking energy assessments/modelling & EPCs for new and existing buildings.
    Undertaking TM59 overheating assessments for new build projectsPreparing energy strategy and decarbonisation reports.
    Liaison with construction team professionals and clients to provide advice on meeting legislative targets.
    Providing advice on reducing energy, CO2 emissions and construction costs.
    Attendance at meetings to contribute to the building design process.


    Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
    New Build Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA), (Minimum 1 years' experience).Good understanding and knowledge of construction, sustainability and building regulations.
    Excellent communication skills.
    Organised and structured with a professional outlook and good interpersonal skills.
    IES/Design Builder competent. Effective team player and highly driven.
    Clean driving license and access to own vehicle.

    Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA)

    BREAM Experience Thermal modelling competentReport writing Opportunities:
