Exams OfficerPertemps Work Based Learning are working in partnership with a fantastic independent training provider based in the North East.
They are currently looking for an Exams Officer to join the team.

As an Exams Officer, you will work in partnership with both other staff, and external bodies to ensure the processes of exams are carried out smoothly, and in line with rules and regulation.

- £22,000 - £23,000

  • Based in Sunderland

Typical Duties of the Exam Officer:

  • Liaise with a wide range of both external and internal associates, managing examination processes, timetabling, and invigilation.
  • Coordination of examination days, for students, staff and external bodies.
  • Oversee invigilation process, ensuring all invigilation staff are fully trained. Invigilation duties may also be needed.
  • Manage exam results, liaising directly with external bodies in order to ensure each learner receives them.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience for the Exam Officer:

  • Very strong organisational skills, including a high attention to details is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience working alongside examination practice and processes is extremely desirable.
  • Experience liaising with external bodies, ensuring a high standard of work.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted criteria is desirable.
  • Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills, and experience working with Microsoft Office packages.
  • DBS certificate, or ability to obtain clear DBS.
