Avanti Personnel are currently working with a dynamic, service-orientated manufacturer who supply performance joinery products to the UK construction industry.

Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative at their site in Durham.

Working in a busy warehouse environment, you will work as part of a team to manufacture joinery elements from raw materials to finished goods.

Duties and Responsibilities

Fulfil individual and departmental hourly/daily/weekly targets
Use the electronic scanning system to record product levels and position
Troubleshoot when issues occur and fix any minor issues where possible
Undertake equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning in accordance with instructions
Work to company policies and procedures at all times
Comply with quality standards always
Always carry out tasks in line with health and safety requirements
Carry out general housekeeping to ensure your workstation is clean, tidy and free from hazards
Proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Undertake additional duties as requested by Team Lead

Please note this role is currently a temporary position, but has the ability to go permanent for the successful applicant.

Working hours are 06:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday is optional overtime.

Full-time, Temporary contract

Salary:
£10.00-£10.50 per hour
